A lot of folks here got so hyped up when Feinstein and Grassley came from the Comey meeting with such "grim faces". At a Town Hall when she was asked about that meeting she responded thusly:

and why would he do that? The only ones that can exercise that through impeachment are the republicans in the House, and they don't have the votes for that in the republican controlled Congress.

The media is being played like a fiddle by trump. It doesn't matter what he lies about. A day, maybe two gets reported on on an outrageous policy decision or LIE, and then it is back to business as usual.

I have absolutely no confidence in Congress or the media that they will stop this madness.

I hope I am wrong, but I suspect the only chance we have to stop this is 2018, and that is a long haul because it presumes the so-called occupant of the white house, and his storm troopers don't get us engaged in a war or something else which would move attention away from his actions, onto a supposed "evil menace"

We are in very serious trouble, and the only way we have a chance to stop it is 2018
