The investigations start next week. How ugly do you think it will get?

I think things could snowball. It could get very ugly, quickly. One investigation starts another investigation and so on. Flynn is a big problem for trump. Trump is going to become more and more unstable trying to defend himself.

Lets hope this investigation brings down trump quickly. I hope within a year. All of us have to remember one thing that gets lost in all this madness. Right now we do not have a functioning government. If some crisis happens it could be bad news.

1. The investigation is being run by Republicans

they have no moral center, no code of ethics, so this is just an exercise in going through the motions.

They will have a few witnesses who will say "nothing happened here", they will declare it done and everyone innocent.

2. I wish the Gorsuch hearings could be postponed/blocked.

Why should someone like Trump get to fill the position, with everything that is hanging over his head? It's like handing Vladimir Putin a seat on our Supreme Court for the next 30 years. (Of course, this begs the question....that the only legitimate name in play for the SCROTUS is Merrick Garland, whose nomination was criminally blocked by Mitch McConnell and handed over to the incumbent serial sexual predator/white Nationalist bigot who daily reveals himself to be a complete ignoramus on any topic that is introduced).
