WASHINGTON, March 15, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Paralyzed Veterans of America (Paralyzed Veterans) today announced it has honored Senator Patty Murray with the 2017 Gordon H. Mansfield Congressional Leadership Award. Senator Murray has collaborated extensively with Paralyzed Veterans government relations staff to advance legislation that enables VA to provide fertility counseling and treatment to qualifying veterans and their spouses, including in vitro fertilization (IVF). These long-awaited procreative services finally became available to veterans on January 19 of this year, and are approved through September 30, 2018.

... we're not the problem. The angry scowlers who constantly attack Democrats and the Democratic Party would be wiser to focus their attentions elsewhere --- at the TRUE enemy of our Republic and our citizens. Attacks on Democrats only serve to divide and weaken the ONLY party who can fight the GOP.
It does, quite literally, make the GOP stronger and more powerful when people continually try to WEAKEN Democrats. I question the wisdom of such short-sighted and vain thinking. People seem to have forgotten that "Stronger Together" is more than just a slogan.
I can't understand why anyone comes here if they hold the Democrats in such contempt. JPR is just a click away and they welcome Democratic Party bashing. It also appears that some people are still wallowing around in 2016. They need to turn their calendar over and see who is in charge now...it's not the people they are bashing.
She brings so much positive energy and optimism to the Senate. She's tough as nails, but she's not one of the Senators who has to "exaggerate" and become a billowing and blustering caricature.
As the newswire notes... she's TIRELESS, and I must agree with that! What makes her advocacy even more meaningful is that she's doing it FOR OTHERS (and not for herself). She's leads by DOING, by GUIDING, by setting GOALS, by BUILDING, by IMPROVING.
I mean, anyone can come in and scold and scowl and tell-ya-what's-wrong... the real test of leadership... the REAL MEASURE OF BEING A DEMOCRAT... is when someone is able to demonstrate how to get things DONE (and not just twiddle their thumbs while endlessly griping).
