they showed me that someone from Russia had accessed my account....sorry I do not have a domain.....everything was erased once I changed my password.

Can you still access your email? It almost sounds like you were phished and the password change was an attempt to get your real password.

Small time hackers practicing or it's to send out spam. If you're able to change your password your probably fine. Make sure it's a good one.. no dictionary words, a number an upper and lower case letter and one crazy symbol like ~ or ^ and best if its at least 12 characters but do your best. Don't be surprised if you get replies to the hackers spam.

OP, I'm assuming that you changed your password from the actual Hotmail site, and not from a link in the email, correct?
