The journalist (Michael Cohen, who I quite like - he's written a number of good pieces for the Guardian etc.) is taking issue with Greenwald's use of the word "lie", implying bad intent to warp the truth, when supposedly the details of where Snowden spent eleven hitherto unaccounted for days in Hong Kong have only just emerged.
Cohen's being a little sensitive, given the level of invective Greenwald can employ against those he disagrees with. "Lie" is old hat, but rather tame by his standards.
I've no idea what Greenwald's doing - maybe he doesn't want to talk about something else that's going on, about which he's embarrassed ...
