A couple of pieces of advice....

One from a friend:

The Palmer Report. It’s nothing more than wish-fulfillment clickbait for liberals. It constantly uses headlines like, “Trump About to be Arrested!” Which is bullshit. Bill Palmer used to run the Daily News Bin, and it was basically a pro-Hillary Clinton information site. It was out there to counter misinformation about her That was fine, but it wasn't news reporting. It was public relations. But then he started to try reinvent it as a news site, and he changed the name to the Palmer Report. His schtick is to take something that is nominally true and slap a screaming headline on it to make you think something huge has happened. Then you click on it, and it’s just some innocuous story. I hate that kind of thing.

The other from Mike Morrell, former adviser to Hillary, and former assistant CIA director on The Charlie Rose Show earlier this evening who said: (paraphrase)

"an ongoing investigation doesn't mean anything is there.."

He lowered expectations very deliberately. And we here probably should as well.

All sites should be approaches with a skeptical eye.

I don't know specifically about the Palmer Report but I do see a lot of feel good liberal news that has no real substance around on the Web. News that makes it appear that indictments are just around under the corner.

Yas major scandals are developing but dont expect our government to take them on in a serious way any time soon. We just have to prepare for a time when Democrats gain back control before any real justice can be expected.

I disagree with both your pieces of advice.
1) i have been following Palmer for about two months now and find it EXTREMELY CURIOUS how often he is denigrated.
My experience is that he is consistently ahead of the curve on "breaking" news and although he may reference info that my friends and i have previously discovered or is known, it is in context. (usually linked to as well) Also, he is quite often now, paraphrased and flat out plagiarized by "vampire" sites - leading to questions about original sources.
My suggestion is for you or anyone else to follow him and decide for yourself and quit taking other peoples opinion for truth!
2) i, personally, would not consider Charlie Rose a character reference, let alone brag about it.

3) I DO COMPLETELY AGREE WITH your implied sense of wariness. I am one of those old 60's radicals that closed down buildings and stormed the streets and lived through the Nixon era. We did not have the technology of today and i find the speed of information exchange to be both an advantage & disadvantage.

4) Finding “factual &/or Valid, verifiable info has become an art form – these may help
articles & sites about “Fake news” / Click bait / Satirical - & 'Fact-check' sites
Look for: neutral wording and unbiased sources to support their claims.

I wish I had a dollar for every "THIS IS IT!" headline on DU.

A shoe is always just about to drop, sometimes even a boot.

So much wishful thinking here.

Mike Morrell is not in the game. Adam Schiff is and says there is evidence of collusion with Trumpskis & Russkies. And anyone who can see with their own eyes of all the connections between the two. Policy: Republican platform changed to help Russkies & hurt Ukraine. Trying to shake down NATO & our allies or we will walk, Support of Brexit. Meetings: between Russkies & Trumpskis that first they said was fake news, then later when caught try to down play it. If it was so innocent why did they first deny any one had meetings with russkies? Campaign & cabinet members :like Flynn, Sessions, Stone, Page, Boris Epstyen, Manafort, Tillerson, Gorka, Ross, All have direct ties to Russia. Russia Oligarchs & criminals: constantly seen in Trump towers or Mara Lago, even having offices or residency in these buildings. Don jr. & him saying previously that most of their money comes from Russia. His failure to show taxes that would probally reveal these ties. And the final tale & most telling ; Putin sacking, killing his own intelligence officers, or other people with ties to this mess. Over reacting? All just Coincidence? I think not!

There is much in it to unpack. And I didn't hear the whole thing. He is working for CBS News now. But I don't think Morrell is out at the CIA.

Here's a fascinating romp through 45/CIA shenanigans.

None of that means the FBI has enough to prosecute or that they will prosecute.

I don't trust the FBI.

How many crimes did the Bush Cartel get away with? I lost count. Are any of them in jail? Was he impeached?
