But we ALL benefit from pre-existing protections and no life time limits. We have to protect the progress we have made. It's hard fought.

because of large deductibles & copays, but isn't that because of the plan chosen?.
Some want catastrophic, they are young & healthy so their deductible would be much higher than the family that needs coverage for themselves & children.

Another thing they keep saying that Obama said & he did "if you like your plan, you can keep it". But my understanding, those were junk plans taking peoples money & not delivering.

Would like input, especially from those on ACA.

I'm on medicare, so I don't understand ACA that well.

And I appreciate you asking. I live in Montana, there are only two companies offering individual plans. One of the companies does not want the individual plan business and prices their plans accordingly at $2000+ per month.

The other company only offers 3 plans for people in my age bracket, I'm 52 and my husband is 55. We have the least expensive plan at $1322 per month. The silver plan is $1607 and the gold plan is $2132!!!

The ACA thankfully provides pre-existing condition protections, but insurance companies have answered that by charging huge premiums for older people on individual plans. I don't consider myself old at 52...but here we are.

I'm happy the ACA was preserved but it needs to be a stepping stone to something that serves more of us. Single payer!!!

The cabal is plotting as we speak.

I'm far more afraid of the terrorists in the WH and rethug party than I am of any foreign organization. We have a much higher chance of being injured or dead as a result of republican "policy".

as attention will be turned towards tax reform. You know the republicans, tax reform isn't meant to help us. Nothing they do is in the best interest of people. This one concerns me greatly. Because there will be no way around taxes.

So many of the stories I heard both on here and in real life about folks who were worried and desperate that the ACA was their only hope hurt my heart. I am thankful that they can rest easier tonight.

Powerful because our voices, dollars, texts, tweets, marches were heard. We can do it again when we need to.

I think from a conference call with my Indivisible group - we have time to focus on the election.

We have a 2 council people, an assembly seat to defend, another to grab. Tomorrow our Wisniewski supporters are phone banking nd those of us who are Murphy supporters are organizing locally.

We have to get sanctuary status for our Town, and focus on the Penn pipeline.

There's so much work to do - this was a huge boost to the NJ elections this year!

We flipped four Republican House members. Four! We got to Leonard Lance. Time to reload our Activism Bows.

so Republicans collusion with Insurance Corporations won't ruin our Obamacare LAW (ACA) out of spite.

Time to tweak ACA NOW, right away make Insurance Corporations get those thousands of plans off independent 'for profit' internet businesses and back on healthcareDOTgov state exchanges.

Make the insurance Corporations stop, fake inflated drug prices & fake inflated billing prices- to force more out of pocket costs on consumers.
