(15,438 posts)I have zero doubts they'll try and continue to repeal ObamaCare (those tax cuts to the wealthy are all-important to these American oligarchs!) just like they've been working tirelessly to undermine and do away with Social Security and Medicare since the inception of these earned benefits.
Time is the enemy of American democracy because of the short attention spans of Americans, and a complicit and complacent U.S. media are their allies.
We must remain vigilant.
We need to highlight their attempts to undermine democracy in favor of authoritarian rule and bring out, nurture, and feed the anger in people who will have the energy to hotly protest everything Republicans try to slip under the radar until we take back the House, the Senate, and the White House.
Until such time, everything President Obama and Democrats have worked hard for and sacrificed, is under threat.
As long as Republicans are in majorities, our democracy continues to be under threat of being killed off.
