Bernie Sanders leads the pack with 75% approval. It's nice seeing my senator Angus King in the top 5. Heidi Heitkamp is higher than I expected. Hopefully she can hang onto her seat in 2018.
McConnell's numbers are underwater. Delicious.

(65,076 posts)I'm from IL. Duckworth just won in November and her approval rating is higher than her winning margin. What could have changed in 5 months for people who didn't vote for her just back in November to decide she's doing a good job. Don't get me wrong, i like her and i voted for her, but the numbers don't make sense.
Then Durbin is at 50%, but he wins re-election in landslides. He hasn't been in a close election in about 2 decades.
Again, the numbers don't make sense.

Cornyn approval: 49%
Those people have never visited their offices. I would rather deal with Cornyn's office than Cruz's office any day. Cruz has tried to kick constituents out of his offices. At least Cornyn has respectable staff that give you their business card. Cruz's San Antonio office had the gall to ask a visitor if they were from Texas. Cruz never responds to emails, Cornyn's office does.
Looks like Texas just loves extreme red.
