In one of my law classes, the Professor was a DA

He was telling us that one night the police called him seeking advice on how to rectify a "situation".
Apparently an older woman was on a roof of her trailer house and the police were trying to get permission to turn a firehouse on her and remove her from the roof.
The DA asked "whose trailer is she on"...the police replied "hers"
"Has she done anything wrong?"
They replied no but she is on the roof and she might be crazy.
"What's the crime?" Asked the DA?
"Not obeying us to come off the roof".
The DA told them unequivocally no that if the lady wanted to sit on her roof that she could.
He shared with us that his bet the crazy one wasn't the one on the roof....
