One bit of good news, Roy Moore had his lifetime suspension ruled on by the sitting Alabama Supreme Court.

They ruled unanimously for Moore's suspension to be valid.
This is the second time now, Moore has been thrown off the state Supreme Court due to defying the federal Supreme Court.
One thing that never gets mentioned, when Moore was between gigs, he gave a keynote speech to the Council of Conservative Citizens, the largest racist group in the US.

(26,371 posts)Caleb Moore, the 24-year-old son of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, admits he has struggled with drugs and alcohol in the past.
He also says that dealing with the pressure of having a controversial politician as father has been a struggle too.
Caleb Moore is back in the news after being arrested on Sunday, his seventh arrest in less than four years, including driving under the influence arrests in both Alabama and Florida, and three drug-related arrests in Baldwin, Pike and St. Clair counties in Alabama.

(111,367 posts)so time is running out to fulfill his destiny as the first great leader of the southern bible party, something I've been hoping he'd do for two decades. Now that he's got a lifetime ban from jurisprudence, perhaps he'll spend his last few years doing just that and make me proud. Splitting off the religious loonies from the Republicans would do everybody a big favor.
Please yer ex judgeship, you know this is the right thing for you to do with the rest of your life, then on to glory.
