Game of death
Two little brothers, what a horror
the two of them alone at home
The older brother has obtained
the key to the weapons cabinet
For what comes next, you don't need much imagination
the hunt starts in the cozy home
The little brother, he agrees
he doesn't want to be a killjoy
In the mortal game
I want to see you bleed
In the mortal game
it shall happen for real
The iron digs into the back
passes through the child's ribs
'Game over, I'm the hero!'
is what passes from his lips
Creaking the door opens
He's switching on the light
asking for another game
The little brother doesn't answer
In the mortal game
I want to see you bleed
In the mortal game
it shall happen for real
In the mortal game
Divine, brutal and beautiful
In the mortal game
I want to see you die

(15,131 posts)If these guys start throwing around nukes, we have to engage in massive anti-war demonstrations and try to end the madness through civil disobedience. It cannot happen!

I have to wonder what the American diplomatic corps in German-speaking countries is reporting back home, and if Tillerson is paying the slightest bit of attention?
SOMEone in the Trump administration has to know that an unprovoked nuclear strike on North Korea will lead to the immediate dissolution of NATO (which Trump has suddenly discovered he likes). By the same token, SOMEone in the North Korean leadership has to know that a first use of a nuclear weapon, or a missile "test" landing on Japan or South Korea, let alone US territory, will probably mean the end of their little dynasty within hours. The Chinese would probably be glad to do it for us. If they don't, Trump would be too happy to oblige. If he has to, he'll manage to send our fleet in the right direction. Even so, deranged as Kim is, he has to know the consequences if he goes too far. Our one consolation is that Kim probably knows better than Trump does.
Worst case scenario--Trump invites Palin and Ted Nugent down to the WH Situation Room during a nuclear confrontation.

(164 posts)... I hope people don't have cause to say, "Well they should have known better in the 21st Century to let an insane spitefully vain man without empathy for others have the nuclear codes in the first place."
