Entertainment Weekly reports that the season finale of the hit series “Supergirl” will be titled, “Nevertheless, She Persisted.”

The “Supergirl” finale title makes reference to a comment by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, after Sen. Elizabeth Warren attempted to read a letter by Corretta Scott King into the record during the confirmation hearings of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

2. Maybe, but I know people who voted for Trump who did not like him at all but couldn't bring

themselves to vote for Hillary, because her emails...FAUX news watchers. So I don't know that you can figure the % who voted for him all like that he bragged about sexual assault.

I know you are not saying this but anyone who does say this is either lying, because the real reason they vote for trump is they are also racist/misogynist assholes, or they are beyond stupid, or both.

7. I don't think it's that simple. You have to consider people's media sources.Those who think

they are getting objective truth from FAUX, etc. live in an alternative universe that rarely, if ever, intersects with the one you and I live in. I know intelligent people who watch FAUX and they think my sources are as fake as I think FAUX is. We cannot talk politics at all because we have no common ground from which to approach it. One friend whom I have known for 50 years - since college- very reluctantly voted for Trump because she was convinced Hillary was a criminal and would destroy the country; based on the info she had and believed was true, she had good reason to believe this.

I don't know how she feels now; I have not been able to bring myself to talk to her since the election. But it is important not to dismiss everyone who voted for him as racist, misogynist, etc. and to be aware of the powerful, insidious and extremely destructive influence of right wing media. I have learned that I cannot judge everyone who is taken in by right wing media as stupid, much as it is difficult for me to understand them. They literally live in a different world. But they are not all stupid, by any means. It is critical to understand that they live in a parallel universe with alternative facts; they have very different information than we have.

Also remember, Russia was actively involved in spreading dis-info about Hillary.

"Her e-mails..." is just convenient cover for bigotry, misogyny, racism, small-mindedness, provincialism, nationalism, you name it.

Trump voters are blockheaded bigots, the lot of them. They can say anything they want, but it's the truth.

We don't know about how the rest feel except through a scattering of polls.

I'd like to think that 48% overstates the truth.
