Medicare/VA COUPON Program Will Go Under New GOP Health Plan TOO Eventually.

The next battle will be putting Medicare and the VA system under the same GOP plan in the end. That system would include HIGH RISK pools for elders and veterans and disabled veterans.

3. Medicare is already a high-risk program...

Seniors get much worse coverage with Medicare than younger folks can get with the ACA, especially if they are low income. We're talking 20% coinsurance for many procedures, very limited prescription drug coverage with the donut hole and relatively high co-pays or co-insurance, etc. Medicare of course is better than nothing but it does need to be brought up to the ACA level, without raising premiums. After all, people on Medicare already paid for at least 10 years of premiums.

IMHO.

However vouchers and coupons will go the opposite direction.
