(6,070 posts)Over the last several decades the GOP has systematically rid itself of every member who isn't a sociopath.

(6,916 posts)And the GOP donors' main goal is to destroy the government to allow tax cuts on the 0.01%.
With this bill we see that destroying the government often means destroying the lives of Americans.

(6,916 posts)Dionne is confused.
All GOP have been running on destroying Obamacare for 6+ years. This bill has nothing to do with the president*.
It's a Koch Brothers and GOP donor bill.
The reason American politics is so scary today is that the GOP destroy-the-goverment donors have allied with the president. Either one by themselves would not threaten our democracy the same way.

(49,001 posts)Not his.
tRump does not have a health policy. He has all the heath policies. He's for single-payer, affordable care, states rights, high risk pools, terminating coverage for pre-existing conditions, covering pre-existing conditions, no government subsidies of health insurance, complete coverage of everyone, emergency room care, ....
tRump is clueless because "who knew healthcare was so complicated?" he says.
All tRump got was a feather in his cap.

(11,561 posts)Republican can be counted on to go too far. In this case, their avarice will be their undoing. The dollar is their god and they have no respect for human life, despite the endless posturing. They are despicable and cruel beyond imagining.

(3,847 posts)fair to charge the older population and put caps on their care. His bullshit excuse was since so many young people refused to get coverage the insurance companies couldn't afford to continue coverage of the over 50.
He continued to puke out some more bullshit, but the major tidbit is true death panels for those over 50.
