Claude Taylor is putting his reputation on the line, which is more than any of the anonymous

people who disparage him as "only" a former White House staffer and campaign worker. (Including a recent poster who, interestingly, made that the subject of his very first DU post.)

When this is all over, we will know how much of his information was confirmed. In the meantime, enough has already been confirmed -- e.g., when Comey acknowledged "coordinating" his investigation with two prosecutors -- that I'm taking Claude Taylor seriously. Enough to follow him on Twitter anyway.

Below are some recent tweets by Claude Taylor and by an anonymous journalist who has taken the time to explain why Taylor may be more credible than many in the MSM.

I am prepared to discuss the reliability of my sources with any nat'l reporter. There will be indictments and the record will show the ½

That the GD was up/running/producing results well prior to this date. If this proves to be false, I will expect/deserve a mass unfollowing.

Guilty as charged, in 1993 I did accept a staff position as outlined below, for a salary of $35,000 after '92 campaign/before '96 campaign.

2) I've been a journalist in mainstream media for SEVENTEEN years now. IN NO WAY MSM journalists are better sourced than former WH aides.

4) Being a DC journalist absolutely doesn't mean a. HAVING FBI access or b. being called by sources just bc you're MSM. NOT how it works.

5) Being a DC journalist for MSM also DOESN'T mean having IC source access. AT ALL. Most MSM journos do NOT have the TRUST of IC ppl.

6) MSM wants ACCESS to the big players first and foremost, nothing that UPSETS big players is published unless confirmed by multiple sources.

7) In NO way would MSM publish the big scoops @TrueFactsStated gets, unless they got AT LEAST three different sources confirming.

8) More importantly, @TrueFactsStated as WH aide had a chance to form connections a journalist can only DREAM of, unless V. good with ppl.

9) Being well sourced is not something that comes with working for MSM. AT ALL. All PR people/politicians speak with you but FBI/IC? LOL NO.

...who says what about Taylor or Mensch at this point.. we will hopefully all know the truth sooner than later.

My only fear is that because we are hopeful, some of us may get lazy and sit back believing that arrests (for example) are about to happen. We can't do that because even if true, it could take time. As the old proverb goes... Pray to God (that it's true and the whole band of criminals are about to be prosecuted) but continue to row to shore. We have to keep resisting.

Personally, I'm still pretty dazed by the unbelievable horror since the election.. so I really want to believe that Taylor and Mensch know what they're talking about.

I've been following Claude Taylor for a while now, too. There are 3 there that I check daily: Claude, Louise, and the Jester. Jester can be pretty cryptic, but I sometimes need the angle he provides. Claude and Louise are pretty straightforward, though, and they do help me to sustain hope in the darkness. So yeah, I'm with you.

ETA: I find that it is hope that keeps me going forward, keeps me fighting. If there's no hope, that's when I sit back and wait. Having hope means feeling there are still things worth fighting for, and that is a motivator for me.
