I still maintain that the only way we get rid of cheeto is taking back the House.

Even if Senate Repukes get the balls to demand a special prosecutor, Chump can veto, and he will. He proved yesterday he could care less about the perception of guilt, as long as he can avoid responsibility. Fortunately, his despicable behavior is making a Democratic sweep of the House and possibly Senate, resulting in impeachment, a real possibility.

<30% approval that's a real possibility. Hoping we see those numbers soon.

3. It would be the attorney general at the request of congress who would appoint a special prosecutor.

If the AG refused to do it, there is nothing preventing Congress from expanding their investigation, and there is absolutely nothing trump can do to prevent Congress from doing that.

I am not sure how much the republicans in Congress are willing to protect trump if it looks like he is putting 2018 at risk for them.

What trump has done is personally interfere with an on-going investigation by firing the FBI director in the middle of that investigation, and anything can happen, including people within the FBI testifying before Congress against trump.

either we are in for two long years of high crimes coming from the white house

or tRump becomes such a liability, the right wing stops supporting him.

I think the Dems taking the house is the only realistic option at the moment.

Meaning, IF we get the House and Senate that POS will be next on the chopping block. And if all that happens, Pelosi will be President!

he would be able to appoint a replacement VP. Even if the Senate wouldn't confirm Pence's nominee, he could wait until the Senate is out of session, and then make an interim appointment.

So, no, Nancy Pelosi will not be President.

There is no argument that can be made that it would be bad for Trump to be impeached simply because it would then be Pence.
