Sen Angus King's splendid idea

Sen. Angus King (I-Maine), a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is conducting its own probe into the matter, already had someone in mind Wednesday for the position: Comey himself.

“Now, I had a fun idea in the middle of the night,” King said on CNN. “I think our committee, the Intelligence Committee, should hire James Comey to direct our investigation. Already got his clearances, knows the subject, man of integrity. I’m going to float that today and see what kind of reaction I get.”

LOL, though I realize there wouldn't be a single Republican vote for this, it sure would be fun to see it proposed and voted on.

The Dems can hire their own staff and certainly could hire Comey if they wanted. Heck, Angus King could hire him to his own staff.

reasons make it out of the question. But as for the vaunted integrity, Comey's outed on that one--he's going in the history books. While we still have a true reputation as the only party with any integrity to protect.

James Comey!

He is already up to speed.

He doesn't have to worry about being fired.

He would have the incentive to get to the bottom of it.

He already has the clearances!

Perfect!
