There was zero suggestion that he was trying to influence the investigation, but that created such a firestorm that Lynch had to recuse herself. And remember the outrage from the Republicans? That incident was poor judgement, but there was simply zero evidence Bill was doing anything wrong. The Cons wanted Bill strung up for this. If Lynch would have later said he was asking her to drop her investigation Hillary would have been forced out of the election, period.

What Bill did is not 1/100th as serious as what Trump did. This is a felony. And there are people sitting in prison right now who were convicted on much much less than a memo from a regular FBI agent, much less one from the director of the FBI. Goose...cooked.
