Maybe some senators and at some point a handful of congressmen, but outside of those who are in the dirt themselves. the dogma is simply too strong now, their detachment from reality is complete and they could literally give a fuck less about anyone at this point.

There is ZERO chance they will impeach the fucker - most definitely not in the house and a 1 in a 1,000,000 chance the senate would find him guilty.

8. When the political cost outweighs the benefit

Some Republicans have inched ever so slightly ahead of their party leaders, but as the old saying goes, Democrats fall in love, Republicans fall in line. There will be carefully nuanced and subtle statements of concern, but actual opposition to President Trump and his nest of vipers will not come out until it's very, very safe to do so.

Remember George W. Bush? Republicans defended him with a passion until one day, poof! and now if you get any acknowledgment of W from Republicans, it's along the lines of "George Who?"
