he has no legal duty at that point, but Pence was the opposite, he was in charge of the transition.

Which in turn leads me to the story of how Pence was selected as VP - wasn't (under investigation) Manafort involved in that selection??? - HELLO! -

think Trump would nominate Christie. Oh i guess Ryan is next in line as House Leader? I'm not American so I Don't know all the ins and outs.

I doubt it would be Christie, as he has too much baggage to be confirmed, and Jared wouldn't like it.
It would be great if Pence went down before DT.
I'm sure Ryan would not want it for many reasons.

the dots. I think they can't get the stories out as fast as they are coming in. No administration in history has been so bold with so many corrupt acts. The Repubs are generally corrupt anyway, but this one is fast and furiously corrupt. It is triage to choose which story to work on next.

It appears that all along, the plan was to install Pence in the White House. He's much more easily controlled by the Republican leadership and he certainly is extremist enough for their needs.
