Updates are fine, MSM... but the world is wide and a lot of important (and often tragic) events are going on concurrently.

of screaming. It's not good for anyone.

I remember when a bunch of the networks re-ran most of 24 hours of 9-11 on the one year anniiversary. WTF were they thinking? That we want to be re-traumatized? That we missed something someone said the year before?

Some of this is just assholery.

2. Always give credit where it's due! 24/7 reporting on terror only serves to frighten the populace

which, I believe, is the reason that corporate media are always in a shark-like feeding frenzy to report on any bombing, murder, killing - except those committed by radical christian fundamentalists, particularly when the perpetrator(s) is/are white.
