WASHINGTON ― Al Franken and I have been friends for 30 years, so I got right to the point.

“Will you ever run for president?” I demanded to know in an interview with the 66-year-old Minnesota Democratic senator this week.

Maybe he can get it this year!!! Where is he in the order of succession? lol Heck, in Watergate, somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 administration officials were caught up, plus some non-admin people.

It could happen!

But seriously, I think he's qualified and he would be a top tier primary and general candidate. I believe that even in losing in the Democratic Primary, he would benefit the winner by causing her or him to sharpen their game to a fine degree. The Democrat that beats Sen Franken in a head to head debate is an impressive Democrat indeed.

LOVE AL, but unless we get a hold of voter-suppression on 'roids which will be inflicted upon Dems courtesy of thuglicans, pay close attention to these right-winged digital media companies that will keep on targeting specific Dem voting bases in certain states with negative Dem "info" which could depress Dems from voting AGAIN, and unless we get the ruskies the hell OUT of being able to hack Dem voter rolls etc. (Will be difficult, seeing as the ruskies are tRumputin's buddies, and they won't be punished for meddling in our elections per our DOJ lead by AG, putin-lover beauguard IF they're reported to have done so).

NO DEM HAS A *REAL* CHANCE TO WIN THE WHITE HOUSE.

Even before 2020, we have to be damn worried about 2018 which isn't that far away. The voter's will is tremendous to vote and take it to tRumputin, and the GOP, but if our votes DON'T count we'll still be in the same place we're in now and that's with all of the branches of the government being controlled by thuglicans.

HOW Dems get a hold of GOP-lead voter-suppression, get the damn ruskies OUT of our sacred voting institution AND teach Dems to not fall for FAKE information on our candidates, we're in TROUBLE.

We have to fight, but ALL of those things WILL be an extremely tough lift
