A huge number of bots have recently begun following Trump. Bots are also following HRC, BHO and a few celebrities, but most, by far are following Trump. Why?

I don't really know the significance of bots, but why should people following any of these folks stop doing so if there's an increase in bots following them?

What are they capable of, and how will Russians use them?

harass other twitter users, make engagement almost impossible. Their activity can change trending topics.
