Besides, back then both Repub and Dems wanted him out. This time it won't happen unless it gets SOOOO bad that his base tells the Repub congress to get rid of him. It will take a long time to get to that point. IF we get control in 2018 then maybe there's a chance and that's a big IF. I'll be a basket case by then.

Playing this for all it's worth on msnbc and to some degree CNN. The others will smell the advertising dollars such controversy will bring in. Even the conservative Gannett's USA Today is hopping on the bash 45 train.

I've hope that this will affect those rethugs in Congress. The polls are showing they're in trouble supporting Trump.

Your big IF will grow smaller, so hang on.

The original broadcast networks, CBS, NBC, ABC and presumably FOX starting at 10AM on Thursday. Those who only have very basic cable or antenna/converter box will get to see and learn what's really going on. My guess is that set of viewers emcompasses more than its share of Trump voters.

I expected more positive things from the press today, instead we've gotten right-wing spin almost everywhere, especially broadcast media.

Was there one liberal interviewed anywhere? Hell no. RW media is worse than my big washer - spin, spin, spin. I feel gut punched.

Mueller is our only hope.

Sigh.

McConnell and Ryan must decide that impeaching him would further their agenda better than keeping him in power before he can be impeached.
No traitorous actions no matter how damaging to the country will make a whit of difference to them.
They don't care about morals, democracy, law, the constitution, people's lives or anything else.
All they stand for is personal power.

These two are the only people who can impeach Trump and they aren't likely to do it anytime soon.

and then he will be impeached.

And in the meantime, the worse it gets, the harder it will be for the R's to get their agenda through Congress.
