And yet its been an accepted concept in our culture today, he said. Nowhere does it say, Well, he was a good and faithful servant, so he went to the beach. It doesnt say that anywhere.
How old was Noah when he built the ark? 600. He wasnt like, cashing Social Security checks, he wasnt hanging out, he was working. So, I think we have an obligation to work. The role we have in work may change over time, but the concept of retirement is not biblical.

(5,754 posts)Folks who work full time and don't get a livable wage are living somehow. Many need food stamps, medicaid and other help that is paid for by all of us. If you favor toll roads, you should favor a livable wage. Let those who use the services pay for it. That's what you think, or did I miss something?
