for those posting tweets, a request from a tweeter.

i appreciate that a lot of members arent on twitter, and like to see the actual text of tweets posted when tweets are linked.

i would just like to request the opposite of that be done as well. that is, please embed the tweet, and not just copy the text.
i tweet, and i often rt tweets that are posted here. if the tweet is embedded, it is functional and you can rt, like or reply on that post.

1. Definitely do both!

A screen shot of the tweet and a link to the tweet would be even better. There have been times when I came upon a tweet link here where the tweeter had thought better and deleted it and a screen shot preserves the tweet for those instances.

2. I think we have also discovered...

a number of DU'ers may be "dropping in" at work where social media may be blocked - so they don't get Twitter and Facebook links.

You don't have to have a Twitter account to see tweets and replies, but you do have to have internet access!
