For people who lie so regularly, it's remarkable just how transparently *bad* they are at it.

"They" being this President, his administration, and his fellow travelers in the rest of his party, of course. The Comey saga exemplifies this.

Then again, those of us capable of even the most pitiful amount of critical thought (or at the very least, willing to use the most pitiful amount of critical thought for at least a nanosecond) are not their target audience. Go figure.

1. Con artists aren't trying to fool everyone

Just the people who are either gullible, greedy or not paying attention.

They contribute obscene amounts every Sunday morning to men in pulpits who tells them there is an invisible undetectable
magic man in the sky who needs their money.
