Anti-Trump rhetoric as the cause of today's shooting?

Can we blame anti-Clinton and anti-Obama rhetoric for these?

Jeremy Joseph Christian in Portland?

Trump uses violent rhetoric. He characterizes his political opponents as enemies. This was going to happen sooner or later.

a delusional person. Anyone who thinks he/she can win the political upper hand by shooting someone is a delusional and stupid person.

Just think, there are 400 million guns in hands of civilians in this country. Many of those in hands of deranged and unstable people, and criminals who by definition do not comply with gun laws. We are screwed as a nation due to too many guns. Gun violence will continue.

Than the Beatles had for Charles Manson.

Whackos are gonna whack. It doesn't matter what their politics or lack thereof. It's all just an excuse.

Now, should some of the over-the-top stuff (on both sides) stop? Yes.

The Republicans, in general, are good people who just happen to be completely wrong. The singling-out and hatred of people because they think differently needs to stop.

Maybe his family, friends, job and apparently his government. Trump and the GOP are awful and have caused myself to hate them for what they are doing to me and others but the man was unstable and had access to guns and this is what happens. Despair and guns don't mix. I feel bad for those hurt but easy access to guns with little to no background checks increase these kind of violence. Sadly these kind of attacks can never be totally prevented.
