Barbara Boxer is a hero for giving America the nation's first black female President or VP

Boxer made a right decision to retire in 2016 and let Kamala Harris replace her. Had Boxer ran again, Harris would have had to challenge Feinstein in the Democratic primary in 2018. Now that Harris is in the US Senate, she can challenge Trump in 2020 or be the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee in 2020.

2. As a Californian and Oaktown homeboy I implore every one please let Kamala Harris serve at least one

full term as our state Senator.

It's not that I don't agree she'd be a wonderful candidate for President, let alone a great President. It is is merely I'd like to receive the greatest benefit I can from her term/s as a Senator.

Of course if she decided to run for President I'll donate and work hard for her campaign. She'd definitely be a good, maybe great President

Another aspect is purely personal. Over the years I've encountered her in local stores and restaurants and really enjoyed it. As she's achieved higher offices this has happened less often and frankly I miss running into her.

BTW a Senator, with no term limits, is able to do way more beneficial things for more Americans that the President. Which is something I keep in mind to console myself when people like Elizabeth Warren, Al Franken, and even Bernie Sanders remain in their elected positions. Thing Ted Kennedy & his impressive record.

5. Harris could run in 2024 if Trump wins in 2020 or Harris could run in 2028 if Democrats win in 2020.

In a solid Democratic State like CA-Harris will get re-elected as many times she decides to run.
She can replace Schumer-NY when Schumer-NY decides to retire.
