If Hollywood conservatives are so "out numbered" then how come

their group Friends of Abe had a membership of 2,300?

It seems to me this just plays into the siege mentality I continually sense in right wingers. Whether it's Christians who maintain they are "under attack" or capitalists who don't realize those in power are on their side, the perpetual paranoia in conservatives is hard to fathom.

Is your point that 2,300 is a large number? FBaggins Jun 2017 #1

Not surprising considering all you have to do is work as a paid extra for three days to qualify. They're also scattered all over world.

My impression of Friends of Abe is that most of its membership was recruited through personal contact. Considering it started with Gary Sinise and his like-minded cohorts, that would seem to indicate most are active in Hollywood and the industry, something that can't be said for all SAG members.

My point is that I think "liberal media" claims are exaggerated. That applies for journalism more than for the entertainment industry, but overstated nonetheless.

John Voight, Tim Allen, Kelsey Grammer, and Scott Baio off the screen is a worthy cause.
