JFKs Daughter Caroline Kennedy Made STUNNING Announcement

>"JFK’s daughter, and only remaining child, Caroline Kennedy may be ready to carry on the legacy of her namesake in the near future and we are cheering loudly!

As an Ambassador to Japan under President Obama, “She transformed herself from a celebrity into an influential public figure and statesman who became trusted, respected, liked and listened to,” said Daniel R. Russel of the State Department.

“I think most people don’t know about this, but Ambassador Kennedy was an exceptionally tough negotiator,” admitted Japan’s Foreign Minister, Fumio Kishida. Perhaps that’s why Trump mocked her on the campaign trail, saying “she’ll do anything they want, anything!”

President Donald Trump of course didn’t give a flip about her accomplishments in Japan, and has promptly fired her.
Ironically, Trump may have created a very dangerous future Democratic political opponent."<

The New York Post reports that Kennedy is now considering entering the political fray in 2018 as a U.S. House or Senate candidate. Many insiders are talking about her as a potential presidential candidate in 2020 or 2024. Wouldn’t that be awesome!

She did not make a good impression when her name was batted about wrt taking Hillary Clinton's senate seat. Is she now proposing to take Gillibrand's seat?

And Schumer has too much seniority and experience for us to lose right now.

Maybe she can run for a House seat. I would like to see a bit more political ambition from her. She's a smart lady. She needs to prove that she not only has the ambition for politics, but that she deserves to represent her potential constituents. Campaigning with her JFK Jr lookalike son would probably help (sad to say in these days of shallow citizens that would vote for a sexual predator for President).

If she wants to go for POTUS in 2020 in would be better to avoid a primary and possible loose her seat.

If she runs she will be primaried and will have very hard time to hold her seat. NY politics is in chaos.

She's running for re-election to the Senate next year. When asked about a 2020 presidential race, she said she was "ruling it out." Of course, she could rule it back in, but she's unlikely to do so before the 2018 election.

I see very little chance of her being denied renomination. Odds are there won't even be any serious primary challenge.

for some added seasoning before going for the Whitehouse.
Why the long route? Because right now we need more help taking and keeping the House and Senate than the office of President.

"While the sources declined to reveal Kennedy’s precise political plans — when and which race she might enter — 2018 is the earliest she could do it. She could target the seat of New York’s junior Democratic senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, or Rep. Carolyn Maloney, the liberal Democrat representing Kennedy’s 12th District."

It's a gossipy newspaper with vague rumors saying she might run. And nothing more concrete since then that I can find.

The article read like a gossip column. If she is contemplating a run, they did her a disservice with this "announcement."

John was run as an entitlement by his father, and even when I was in elementary school I was offended by all the noise about "Camelot" and "America's Royal Family." Every day that noise was pushed, so strongly that even a child couldn't miss it, by press eager to sell audience share and newspapers. Disgusting.

I have nothing against Caroline except that, but I hope this is just nonsense. Regrettably authoritarian and silly romantic frivolity should not be encouraged in a democratic republic. There are plenty who've risen to prominence on merit.

How about:

"Caroline Kennedy Contemplates Senate Run"

Also this "Progress Tribune" site is nothing but ads, and this is basically a cut-and-paste of a NY Post article with things like "Wouldn't that be awesome" thrown in.

Because I guess the genes mutate after one politician, and that creates a monster?

It will backfire big if she goes for Gillibrands seat without some prior agreement. Kennedy would come out looking pretty bad.

The only thing this article is missing for the teen crowd is a "like.... uhhh...totally rad man."

Mark Shriver and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend come to mind here in Maryland, and this is a mostly liberal state.

Caroline is not a political animal by nature. I think she would not do well. Also, if elected, she would be starting her elected political career at almost 60, as a junior member of Congress.

She is a year younger than me.

I've read her books.

She is not a political animal.

I was surprised she ran for senate.

Yes, and she will be 60 in November (I even know her birthday)
