President Donald Trump on Thursday lashed out at Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski by claiming that the MSNBC morning show personality was “bleeding badly” after getting a face lift when she visited him late last year.

In a Thursday morning tweet, the president attacked both Brzezinski and co-host Joe Scarborough for speaking “badly of me” on their show. He then went on to recall what happened when the two came to visit him at Mar-a-Lago for a party at New Year’s Eve last year.

“Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me,” Trump wrote. “She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”

In MSNBC host fired back at the president with a tweet that subtly mocked the size of Trump’s hands.

Disclaimer: I never fat-shame, at least not when it comes to actual human beings. Trump has so often revealed himself as a vile predator with a grossly over-inflated sense of his own beauty--while he himself fat-shames literal beauty queens--that I feel no compunction in mock him with the same tactic.
