In the 2008 crisis, Americans observed that the GOP would be perfectly willing to pay any price to bail out the crooked banks but they would not help families who were facing financial disaster over the crisis. They observed that the rich got tax cuts as America went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan. The interest on the money for those wars would substantially increase the cost--if only the rich had paid a little more in taxes.
We now know that the Iraq war was not justified and was an elective war. In reality, the cost of that war is being paid by your children through high college costs because the government "doesn't have the money" to help.
Now the rich want another tax cut and the only way to get it is to cut Medicaid. Shouldn't there be a cost to the stupidity of the rich for the 2008 crisis and the Iraq war? The gap between the working poor and the rich is astounding. The rich don't deserve a tax break and they certainly should never get one from the billionaire boy king.

Didn't even discuss single-payer, didn't fight for public option.
Indescribably better than the GOP, but not really committed enough to the things people needed (and still need).
