(51,607 posts)And to think they were going to let Lawrence go...idiots at MSNBC. Why don't they give Joy her slot...or is she the wrong color.

(53,784 posts)She was never going to work on MSNBC.
Hope they're finding out that the other half, actually more than half, of the country doesn't want to hear right wing crappola.

(23,295 posts)so there's that. I don't know what her ratings were, but I suspect they weren't very good.

(15,805 posts)I like Ari well enough, but Joy show have got Greta's time slot. She already had a M-F show before she was kicked down to the weekend only. I notice that MSNBC is also giving her even less airtime by not scheduling her to fill in as the host on their other evening shows.

(15,682 posts)When? I know he has the Sunday show. It's good too. Other than that I thought he just filled in a lot. I really like him. It would be great to see him regularly.

(6,457 posts)It was getting tiresome to constantly avoid her at 6:00 PM I had to remember to wait until after her show to turn on MSNBC. I cannot even stand to look at her face or hear her speak. I just hope we don't get another Greta type or Greta light.

(34,136 posts)As if there were not already enough of those. He does not care about ratings or what it will cost the network.
I suspect the higher ups at Comcast have a different view and that is why Greta is out. Let's hope that Mega Kelly and Hugh Hewitt are gone soon, too. If I were a stockholder of Comcast, I would be SCREAMING about the choices Lack has been making. MSNBC is finally getting ratings and making money - it is malfeasance to attempt a radical change over in programming now.
