Celebrating July 4, 2017...
Well, today, I put out my American Flag on the front wall of the house. Now, I'm on DU, posting as usual. Later today, my wife and I will drive to a friend's house to drink beer, eat bratwursts and have conversations about this and that. Then, tonight, we'll try to comfort our dogs as the neighbors imitate war munitions.
That's it. Aside from flying the flag and the fireworks, it's pretty much an ordinary day. Every day is a day to think about this country, it's politics, and how it can be improved, as far as I'm concerned.
