Right now I know of a Libertarian running on the GOP ticket in the primary (Austen Peterson) and an ultra conservative retired Air Force pilot (Tony Monetti).
The big talk is that Wagner backed out, as did Hawley, to allow Vicky Hartzler to take the ticket. She hasn't declared yet but talk in our area is she will before Christmas-and tell everyone God told her to do it as a Christmas miracle.
Claire's chances are getting better by the minute. Also, in Hartzler's district one candidate has already declared a run for her seat (Renee Hogenson) and another is considering (Gordon Christiansen). 2018 will not be easy for Hartzler, no matter where she runs.
