Wtf. He essentially surrendered to a foreign power that attacked the US. He did not defend the nation. How's that "presidential"?

(3,739 posts)"Presidential" talking point. I think Gergen is on auto-pilot these days. What a shame.

(4,450 posts)He's been President for, what, six months? And now if he manages to avoid tweeting idiocy or otherwise shitting himself he "seems Presidential?"
Just fucking shoot me.

The world will little note, nor long remember, what Don T says there, but in capitols around the globe, strategists will not soon forget where the delegation slept

(562 posts)Another reason many Americans are so woefully uninformed.
Most of these talking heads are so very shallow in their analyses. Easily digestible meaningless sound bytes based on appearances regardless of the substance of anything he did or said.
It's like Cronkite saying Kennedy knocked it out of the park with Kruschev. "Kennedy's hair looked great and his voice didn't quiver - well maybe a little, but he sat straight up."
Trump was probably there to personally discuss strategies on how to accomplish future election rigging in exchange for dropping sanctions. Did Gergen care to check wtf Trump was saying?

(7,220 posts)With no one present to confirm this bold move, other than Vlad's be-medaled friend T-Rex.
And Strawberry Shartcake apparently rambled on for so long they had to send frickin' MELANIA in to shut him up. Which did not work.
Oh, and the Russians are saying Donnie 2-Scoops unconditionally accepted their response that no such hacking happened, and hey, let's just put this all behind us now, shall we?
So, yeah, Mission Accomplished, I guess. Damn--that Donald is practically a modern-day George Washington.
