Donald Trump and his supporters are continually complaining that too much time is spent on the "Russia" issue. Donald Trump made certain yesterday that people would still be talking about Russian meddling.
He goes into a meeting and he refuses to take his National Security Advisor with him. Evidently, he does not trust McMaster or he is so paranoid about leaks that he is frozen in incompetence? The only person that he seems to trust is Rex Tillerson, the one Cabinet member that has won the highest civilian award from the Russian government. It does not instill a lot of trust in this President.
They talked for almost 2 and a half hours. We have no idea what they talked about? We can only take their word for it and they have not proven themselves trustworthy in the past. Predictably, both sides came out of the long meeting with different stories. Tillerson says one thing and the Russian Foreign Minister says the exact opposite? What are the people to believe?
The lies and the lack of transparency from this Administration knows no bounds. They simply cannot be honest and straight with the people and they continue to hide behind closed doors, casting more and more suspicions upon their actions in the Russian meddling case. Nothing is going to improve until the people have the truth. Trump and his supporters can whine all they want.

(73,655 posts)It's worth noting that even Tillerson has come to view Trump as unstable, and not capable of being president. Tillerson has developed a connection with McMaster.
I do not like Tillerson at all. But I like the divisions within the administration.
