I saw several photographs of our PINO, either sitting by himself or standing by himself, while other participants gathered in groups to exchange ideas and pleasantries. People seemed to avoid interacting with him. When I contrast that with President Obama at such gatherings of world leaders, the difference is massive. President Obama always seemed to be at the center of things, with other leaders actively seeking to engage with him.
Trump, on the other hand, appears to be someone nobody wants to engage with in any way. What that says about the leader of the world's largest economy and most powerful military is alarming. He has, apparently already alienated his peers around the world. How, then, will we come to agreements with nations whose leaders deliberately shun our President?
This is shocking, frankly.

(111,255 posts)He's not just being snubbed, he's being completely ignored. Everybody in the world knows he's an intellectual fleaweight and that there is something likely pathological going on, as well, given his habit of wandering away when he's bored.
And having his unelected, unappointed by Congress daughter sit in for him? There should be hell to pay for that one.
The rest of the world seems to have noticed something that has escaped a good third of Americans: the USA has no president.

(111,255 posts)If he's not being flattered, he's bored. If he's bored, he zones out completely.
Since all those other guys are there to discuss how they're going to cope for a year without blowing the planet up, they're not particularly interested in flattering a US TV star. However, they find each other's ideas fascinating.
We have no president at the G20.

(1,129 posts)This whole exercise has been and continues to be about withdrawing from all international political and economic activities.
This is not a scenario in which *45 wants to engage in LEADING but doesn't know how or is not accepted by peers.
This is a case of *45 being hired to sabotage/weaken a variety of global political and economic alliances, pacts, treaties, agreements, etc.
The fastest way to accomplish that is to have the dominant member (U.S.) of each withdraw their support &/or cease to participate.
*45 was hired and put into a position whereby he could accomplish that very task.
The only remaining items on his to-do list are to
1. Lift Sanctions
2. Give Vlad complete access to the entire US Gov. cyber infrastructure. (DoD; treasury; IC; etc)

I have copies of the map. Very popular. I can send you a copy. I sent Putin a copy. I can send you one."
