Healthcare is so toxic for them now, due to the extreme right and its demands, nothing they put out there will be viewed favorably. However, if they ditch them and go for the Democrats who will meet them in the middle, then they can declare bi-partisanship, fixing Obamacare, etc. And thus, save a few seats. The extremist are so gerrymandered safe, they'll still keep their seats. Give in on this issue to stay in charge.
