Umm...Grassley to Boente email. Veselnitskaya name ALL OVER THE PLACE 3/2017

Last edited Wed Jul 12, 2017, 10:24 AM - Edit history (1)

Grassley wrote Boente to ask how the attached complaint from Hermitage Foundation was being addressed. In that complaint the lawyer's name is all over, multiple times, outlining her questionable role and so much more, including people and organizations associated with her.

This woman has been on someone's radar for Grassley to ask Boente how the complaint is being addressed in his email from **March 2017**. And now it has come out about Jr's meeting with her. No wonder Trump and his crew have been extra hostile. They knew her name was about to surface.
Grassley's email had a lot of cc:'s sent, too. Including to Comey, members of the HFRC, and McCain.

People without a Scribd subscription can't read the entire letter.

But yes, this is damning for Trump Jr. and doom for Trump, his campaign and his administration.

Full text of all correspondence in my new post in this thread titled "Full Text". Here is part of it, with her name in so many paragraphs I'd have to copy and past the whole thing...the new link should work for everyone but here is just one section:

Andrei Nekrasov also provided Dana Rohrabacher with a written statement to be entered on the record, in which he repeated the false allegations that he makes in the Film.21
Neither Natalia Veselnitskaya nor Rinat Akhmetshin filed any FARA or LDA filings with regards to this hearing. On information and belief, they are acting under the control/direction/influence of the Russian Government (see Section III), a FARA filing is required.

i. While lawyers representing foreign principals are exempt from filing under FARA, this is only true if the attorney does not try to influence policy at the behest of his client.22 By disseminating anti-Magnitsky material to Congress, Ms. Veselnitskaya is clearly trying to influence policy and is therefore in violation of her filing requirements under FARA.

Kind of disrespectful to women to write "this woman" and not her name.

Thank you for posting, but I don't have and won't get a scribd subscription. Could you post it or excerpts? Can't be too long.

For the record, if the person about been a male, I would have said "this guy" when I wrote the body of the post. What's next in etiquette, not using pronouns like he /she in sentences?

Jul 2017

Grassley had a lot of questions and "send me this and that" directions.
Did Boente ever follow up? Did he share the names in the attachment with trump and his cronies?

Did the name Veselnitskaya ring a BELL at all when her name surfaced a few days ago (about Don Jr meeting with her) with Boente or the others who got a cc of the Grassley email and it's attachment?

Sorry if the initial post link was not accessible to all...it let me get to it even with no subscription when I found it.

Here is the Senate link

First few pages are what Grassley sent to Boente. Browder to Grassley part starts at page 7. Scroll thru the pages following page 7 and Veselnitskaya's name is every where.

11. From page 10 of 106:

Jul 2017

i. Natalia Veselnitskaya is the lawyer to Prevezon and the Katsyv family. Prevezon is a Cyprus company owned by a Russian national, which makes it a foreign entity under the LDA. Furthermore, on information and belief, both HRAGIF and Prevezon are being controlled/directed/influenced by the Russian Government (see Section III), and therefore should be considered as foreign principals under FARA.

ii. Natalia Veselnitskaya played a key role in organising screenings of the film intended to rewrite the history of Sergei Magnitsky (see Section II.3.C.). On information and belief, in doing so she is being directed by the Russian Government (see Section III), and therefore should be required to file under FARA

Tue Jul 11, 2017, 04:16 PM
Jul 2017

The following people have been involved in HRAGIF’s lobbying activities, but are not listed in their LDA filings:

i. Chris Cooper, CEO Potomac Square Group
ii. Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer for Prevezon

iii. Anatoly Samochornov, Russian born professional interpreter and project manager for the US State Department

-----------
How many others left in the still empty State Dept are involved with similar organizations? Has she been escorted out of the building yet and does she have security clearance?

Is this coup a fait accompli, for real? - because what you have just pointed out here leaves damn little room for doubt...

Well, we shall keep calm and...carry on...

as this unfolded...but that he would neglect to admit that HE knew about the lawyer's background or that she existed. Besides sending Boente the email PDF in March 2017, what exactly has HE done since getting the PDF and email that he sent? Did he get the info from Boente that he asked for, do any follow up, or find out more about the State Dept worker that is involved with the Russian lobbyist group and the Russian lawyer? Or was the email he sent to Boente just a going thru the motions kind of thing, never expecting that the Russian lawyer's name would surface in relation to Trump?
