The Key to the Trump/Russia Story is Hillary's Emails

Today I was reading musings by Josh Marshall of TPM on the Trump Jr. Story and at the end he talked about something I have also been thinking about: Collusion, Russia and the Trump Campaign seems to be connected to Hillary's Emails.

For awhile I tried to figure out what was the key behind the Trump and Russia connections. Was it about sanctions? Was it about money or oil or real estate? I do think there are some connections there.

But, as Marshall posits: The GOP seems to have been fixated on Hillary Clinton's missing emails. They did not believe her lawyers erased those emails and believed someone, somewhere had those emails. It seemed to be the Holy Grail.

1. He may be right, they sure are fixated on her personal emails that she legally deleted

I think the GOP and the Trumpies think those emails have tons of gossip in them and personal information they would love to see.
I do NOT think they care about any SoS business that may have been in the batch removed.

was about tRump calling for the release of the missing 33,000 emails - after jr.s meeting. Before he said this no one used a number for the emails.
