to make him look like a failed president. That they are on purpose not passing health care; tax reform, the wall, etc - because they really don't like Trump and they want him to fail. He said that a number of staunch Trump supporters feel that way.
I didn't know how to respond to him. I was speechless. I couldn't believe what he was saying.
Has anyone else here run into that perspective?

(1,473 posts)Although he controls all three branches of government, nothing is getting done.
Realizing they elected a moronic boob would be to much for them. So blame the other Repubs. Maybe they'll stay home in 2018.

(12,132 posts)think it's just the lying media spoon-feeding us poor deluded kool-aid drinkers lies about the great trump. And they think it's obstructionist dems in congress who are holding up all the good herr trump wants to do.
I didn't say the trump supporters I know are smart.
But I can see them turning on the people they think are rinos. Anyone who isn't 100% pro-trump/pro-life/anti-immigrant is useless to them.

(82,849 posts)Didn't Candidate Trump say over and over again just how easy it was to run things? Wasn't he always going on about the simple solutions he had to so many intractable problems? Why is he such a weakling that the Republicans can stop him cold like this? Tell your cousin that President Trump should just sign another executive order telling everyone they have to do what he says.
Being president is a little trickier than Trump's predecessor made it look, huh?

But it makes perfect sense to me. Trump ran as an insurgent and these folks bought it. They couldn't possibly have erred in their judgment, so in the event of failure the Establishment will be blamed.

(5,547 posts)Tell him that he is absolutely right and that he should never vote for a Republican again.
And he should tell his friends
If we can break up the unholy alliance between the deplorables and the traditional conservatives then the world will be a much better place

Most of freeperville believes this and has a name for it...uniparty.
Make him think his only hope is to vote against the liberal republicans.
These people are not very intelligent.

(11,843 posts)Not that they to do anything to make Trump look like a failed president.
They seem to have forgotten that he represents the GOP.
