Zen Democrat
(5,901 posts)It's possible for Ted Cruz to lose his seat, and Jeff Flake, as well. Democrats could unseat Heller, even though he gets a pass to oppose repeal/replace so as to keep his seat. Why not elect the true believer and not someone getting special dispensation from Mitch McConnell?
Texans have got to be sick of looking at Ted Cruz's putrid face. I mean, really.

(8,617 posts)They hold onto vulnerable seats in FL,IN,MO,MT,ND,OH,WV,and WI and pick up AZ-Flake loses in the primary which means Democratic Pickup or Flake faces a top tier Democratic challenger-Stanton and NV-Heller loses to Rosen. TX is a long shot.
Another way Democrats could get 51 seats is UT-McMullin runs as an Independent, Democrats nominate Matheson.and Republicans nominate a Tea bagger over Hatch.
