We don't have a Manchurian candidate, we have a Manchurian family. Our nation seems to have

become a solely owned subsidiary of corporatists, oligarchs and now Russian mobsters.

This is what happens when fake news has real consequences. Faux news corp and it's affiliates, like the republican congress and senate, have trained its drooling electorate to accept that which would cause the founding fathers to spin like tops in their graves.

The threat to our nation and way of life has gone from fantasy to a very real existential issue. I remember as a younger person watching on the evening news (real news) Russian leader Nikita Khrushchev at the United Nations pounding on the the table with his shoe, frantic and frothing, screaming that they would "bury us", meaning that the Soviet Union would bury the United States. Looks like he may have been prescient.

I still can't get my head around the idea that the Republican Party is defending and acting in a complicit manner with this administration. When do they say enough is enough. Maybe McCarthy was right, maybe we are awash in commies. He just had the wrong group of commies, it was the Republican Party all along.

That's where the big money hides. Exactly what we feared from Citizens United. Citizens United in Slavery.
