Has anyone else had any experience getting censored or suppressed, and disguised infractions, on any other Political Forums? They call themselves Political or Debate Forums, but they are Conservative Forums Moderated by Right Wing Members.
I typically I join these so called "Political Forums" or "Debate Forums", that are mostly places for Conservative Propaganda, Moderated and Protected by Right Wing members, in an effort to counter the Bull Shit that has become fact based news for them. These are places where the Right can spread the Fox News Talking Points and basically become a cheerleading source for misinformation in comfort without Liberal Voices getting in the way with Facts.
I usually hold my one with this people, until weeks like this come up. When they can't find any excuse to backup what is going on in Politics today. That's when they start targeting any Liberal Voices on their Forums for suppression, suspension or better yet for them, outright banning.
It's always good to know your enemy and their tactics, because they are here on this Forum doing the same thing. It's going to get worse before it can ever get better. You have to take the fight to The Right and At The Right. They don't fight Fair because they can't win in a Fair Fight. The only way the Right can Win, is if they shut your Voice Out. What you have to say isn't important and doesn't matter in their world.
Don't Stop Fighting!

(10,437 posts)the tide of conservative voices was being lessen and I was fortunate to be the last "democratic leader" on the forum before it was bought up and shut down....I liked the format as it allowed all political persuasions to participate unlike DU does and it allowed each political persuasions to have its own "private forum" not view-able by any others except moderators, so no interference in our discussions. The "open" forums were handled by moderators and not "juries", to me a better set up than here...and rules were pretty straight forward and you can could targeted and have some suspensions. That became a tactic used against democratic members and I got a 1 week suspension in all the time I was there as I avoided the traps all pretty well.
We did have some pretty good debate as we could go leader to leader on issues. When it came to the point that conservative ideology was on the losing end on the debate as the Bush era was such a disaster, it was bought up and shutdown

(10,014 posts)I agree "It's always good to know your enemy and their tactics" but that doesn't mean you have to participate in a pissing match.
Let them spew in their little circle of ignorance and hate while you do something productive like make calls for a candidate, talk to and persuade non-crazies, or even walk the dog.

Don't you just love how quickly the Right goes from saying "there was no proof of collusion" to "what wrong with collusion"?
This is what I love making them eat their own words, than asking them how was the Crow?

(44,182 posts)They claim they're "progressive" yet lap up and regurgitate wing-nut conspiracies. Still feeding at the trough of RT as well.
If they've tried to shut you down for introducing a little reality, you should be proud.
