Bob SCHIEFFER barely knuckle-rapped Uday & maybe took a swipe at Dan RATHER
After all these years I have ditched the cheery chattering of GMA & Today in favor of CBS's classy by comparison Gayle KING/Charlie ROSE/even Nora O'DONNELL. The guest was SCHIEFFER for his take on Uday. My big plus for him is that he is the network Name who had a part in running O'LOOFAH into a hissy fit out of CBS because O'LOOFAH claims he himself was "a war correspondent" in the big Brit-Argentine War and did all the work on a story but then CBS put SCHIEFFER on the air because a NAME was needed. This is called "big footing."
So SHIEFFER says that the DRUMPF problems come from their business model of trying to run the presidency like a family grocery store. That it has seldom if ever worked to hire relatives to run things, that he has seen politicians put their wives in as chiefs of staff and you can't fire the wife and other employees can't complain about what the wife does wrong.
Then he said that his own first reaction at getting the e-mail proposal would have been to laugh. Next he would have gone into a big ponder as to whether somebody was trying to set him up. That even as just a reporter he has been the target many times of attempted set-ups. Was that a slap at Dan, the implication that Dan should have known better?!1
(Just to clarify: Dan's story about Shrub was TRUE. )

I'll just say to SCHIEFFER (like haha me really talking to Bob SCHIEFFER: ) Uday ****KNEW**** the schlub who e-mailed him and BELIEVED in the premise, so it wasn't a SET UP.
