What is the point of the Russia hearings other than to affect

the midterm elections? I hear no matter what Trump can pardon anyone he choses to. I here a sitting president
can't be charged. Then no matter what else comes out the Republicans are not going to impeach him. It just seems like
the president has unlimited power to do whatever he wants as long as his party is in control.

1. I do not believe that any US President has ever been impeached to the point of losing their job

But it has definitely helped to flip the next election.

is little difference between our president and a dictator. It is really scary, I think Trump may even make himself a dictator like Putin.
It seems like he can do anything as long as his crazy base backs him. The last election proved that the electoral college doesn't function like the founding fathers intended. The intent of the EC was to prevent someone like Trump taking office but there he is anyway.

4. A year ago we had a functioning government. It isn't the power that's the problem,

it's the corruption of power and the lack of a moral compass in the Republican party. Drumpf does want to be a dictator. The intent of the electoral college was to give small states a voice 200 years ago.

6. It was also intended to prevent a man like Trump from becoming president.

If the Republican electors had any integrity they wouldn't have voted him in after all he lost the popular vote
by over 3 million votes. He was clearly unqualified, a serial liar, a crook and bragged about assaulting women..
