Trump dumped Christie after cussing him out over this on election night, book claims

TRENTON -- Gov. Chris Christie was dumped as the head of President Donald Trump's transition team after an ugly clash between the two on election night, according to a new book set to be released Tuesday.

In "Devil's Bargain," Christie reportedly arranged to have former President Barack Obama call his cell phone to offer Trump congratulations on his election-night win, according to the Daily Mail.

"Hey Donald. The president talked to me earlier," Christie told Trump after it looked like the the businessman could defeat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to the report. "If you win he's going to call my phone, and I'll pass it over to you."

Trump responded: "Hey Chris, you know my [expletive] phone number. Just give it to the president. I don't want your [expletive] phone," according to the report.
